The Cornell Investments Club is a student-led organization at Cornell University that brings together a tight-knit community of students passionate about finance and investing. New members participate in a 10-week educational program designed to teach core financial concepts and investing strategies. You’ll get the chance to manage a simulated portfolio, collaborate on projects, and explore different areas of finance such as investment banking, sales and trading, private equity, asset management, and more. It’s a hands-on experience that equips members with practical skills while expanding their understanding of the investing world.

While there isn’t a strict time requirement, new members are expected to complete the education program, which includes weekly workshops, operations, and projects. It’s designed to fit into a busy academic schedule while providing a structured introduction to the work environment you might encounter in finance. The workload is realistic yet challenging, preparing you for professional opportunities in the future.
